From January 2005, all European Union public companies
must adopt International Financial Reporting Standards
(IFRS). 2004 is the year in which all companies must
mobilise their ability to conform to IFRS mandatory
requirements. Subject to your fiscal year you’ve probably
less than six months to prepare your organisation for
the transition to IFRS.
Although IFRS comes into effect in 2005, you will have
to start applying the new rules now as 2004 accounts
included in 2005 reporting will also need to comply
with the new IFRS rules.
Before then you will need to conduct an impact assessment
specific to your business and ensure the right knowledge
reaches the right people, in the right context, at the
right time.
There are three primary objectives in designing a learning
approach that will maximise the ability of your organisation
to execute an effective transition to IFRS:
Establish base
line understanding
Enable impact analysis
and resolution
Sustain knowledge
and adaptability within the business
The Intellexis solution uses a blend of on-line learning,
competency assessment tools and expert trainers to create
the right balance of learning intervention, guiding the
learner to acquire the necessary knowledge as effectively
and efficiently as possible. The application and sustainability
of knowledge is achieved through the facilitation of expert
coaches and learner access to relevant reference materials.
Expertise shortage
as deadlines approach
Cost of poor planning
Penalties for failure
to comply
The ability to execute an integrated learning programme
that is tailored to your business and your people will
set you apart. The definition, design, development and
deployment of the right learning approach can be significantly
accelerated with access to learning templates that provide
a clear roadmap to execution. This may save you over 40%
in costs and execution time.
