What are the main features of the programme?

The course consists of 10 lessons which cover an introduction to the basic concepts of finance, teaching you how to read basic financial statements and develop an understanding of areas like the costing and cash flow. The course then moves on to teach you how your decisions as a manager impact the financial health of your organisation. You will look at such topics as profit margin, project appraisal, management of assets and return on investment. The course includes proven subject matter and relevant interactive exercises that assist you in understanding the financial concepts needed by all managers.

The course is fully supported by an audio commentary option to assist the learning process. An interactive glossary is available. To review a subject you can link back to the training material directly from the glossary. A Bookmarking facility is also provided as a revision aid. You can mark and record those areas of study that you will want to revisit prior to taking the exam.

The pre-course assessment judges your base level knowledge, and provides a set of recommended actions to take you through the courses in a path personal to you own learning needs. The score that you have achieved in the pre-course assessment can also be compared to that which you score in the post-course assessment to give you a precentage improvement score.

Mock-exam simulator
